On Tuesday, April 1, former Birmingham Community Charter High School standout Jorge Romero’s current college team, the Western Illinois Leathernecks, lost 6-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Saint Louis Billikens.

The game took place at Billiken Sports Center. This was their first matchup against the Billikens this season.

The Leathernecks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 2 p.m. at Alfred D. Boyer Stadium against Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles.
