North Ridge Hospital Medical Center issued the following announcement on Dec. 18
Today is a major milestone in our battle against COVID-19. Dignity Health - Northridge Hospital Medical Center began vaccinating frontline health care workers this morning after receiving the first doses of coronavirus vaccines just yesterday. The first person to be vaccinated was Dr. Imran Sharief, MD, FCCP, Pulmonary Medicine/Critical Care Medicine at 6:15 am. We now see a light at the end of the tunnel thanks to the remarkable effort by researchers, scientists and health care providers.
