On Saturday, April 5, former Birmingham Community Charter High School standout Jorge Romero’s current college team, the Western Illinois Leathernecks, lost 14-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles.

The game took place at Alfred D. Boyer Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Golden Eagles this season.

The Leathernecks’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 6 at 2 p.m. at Alfred D. Boyer Stadium against Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles.
