On Friday, April 18, former Birmingham Community Charter High School standout Jorge Romero’s current college team, the Western Illinois Leathernecks, lost 11-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Little Rock Trojans.

The game took place at Gary Hogan Field. This was their second matchup against the Trojans this season.

The Leathernecks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 19 at 1 p.m. at Gary Hogan Field against Little Rock Trojans.
