On Friday, March 6, former Valley Torah High School star Johnny Dan and his current team, the Yeshiva Maccabees, secured a 71-69 victory over the Bates Bobcats in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.

The matchup, held at 1 p.m. at Panzer Athletic Center, marked the Maccabees’ first tournament game against Bates.

Yeshiva Maccabees are scheduled to play their next game Saturday, March 7, at 9 a.m., again at Panzer Athletic Center.
