On Friday, Jan. 31, former Birmingham Community Charter High School standout Jessica Rose’s current college team, the West Alabama Tigers, won 2-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the North Georgia Nighthawks.

The game took place at Gulf Shores Sportsplex. This was their first matchup against the Nighthawks this season.

The Tigers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 1 at 10:30 a.m. at Gulf Shores Sportsplex against Barry Buccaneers.
