On Friday, March 13, James Nobles, a former standout for Birmingham Community Charter High School, helped his current college team—the Point Loma Sea Lions—secure a 76-61 victory over the Northwest Nazarene Nighthawks in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.

Pioneer Gymnasium hosted the game at 12 p.m., marking the Sea Lions’ first tournament face-off with the Northwest Nazarene Nighthawks.

Point Loma’s following game is scheduled for Saturday, March 14 at 5 p.m. at Pioneer Gymnasium.
