On Friday, March 7, former Birmingham Community Charter High School standout Jorge Romero’s current college team, the Western Illinois Leathernecks, lost 10-9 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Murray State Racers.

The game took place at Johnny Reagan Field. This was their third matchup against the Racers this season.

The Leathernecks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 2 p.m. at Johnny Reagan Field against Murray State Racers.
