On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Birmingham Community Charter High School standouts Alex Olvera and Daniel Flores’ current college team, the Cal State Monterey Bay Otters, lost 11-10 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Cal Poly Pomona Broncos.

The game took place at Scolinos Baseball Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Broncos this season.

The Otters’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 6 p.m. at Otter Sports Center against Sonoma State Seawolves.
