On Wednesday, Feb. 26, former Birmingham Community Charter High School standout Kaden Taque’s current college team, the California Golden Bears, won 6-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Cal State Bakersfield Roadrunners.

The game took place at Evans Diamond at Stu Gordon Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Roadrunners this season.

The Golden Bears’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 6 p.m. at Evans Diamond at Stu Gordon Stadium against Santa Clara Broncos.
